Almost all successful individuals understand and have adopted the use of leverage to accelerate their success. You may become successful without using leverage but, you if you aren’t using it, that means you are willing to compromise the level of success, speed, and time necessary to achieve your goals.

I remember reading Robert Kiyosaki's book "Rich Dad Poor Dad", where he briefly explains what leverage means and how leverage can help us become rich. And in one of his books, Retire Young Retire Rich, Robert Kiyosaki even tells us how to use the power of leverage and what benefits you can get from using it.

This is how Robert Kiyosaki defines leverage.

"In the broad definition of the world, the word leverage simply means 'the ability to do more with less'. When it came to the subject of work, money, and leverage, rich dad would say, 'if you want to become rich, you need to work less, and earn more. In order to do that, you employ some form of leverage.' He contrasted that statement by saying, 'People who only work hard have limited leverage. If you're working hard physically and not getting ahead financially, then you're probably someone else's leverage.' He also said, 'If you have money sitting in the bank in your savings account or retirement account, then others are using your money as their leverage.

My rich dad said, 'People with leverage have dominance over people with less leverage.' In other words, just as humans gained advantages over animals by creating leveraged tools, similarly, humans who use these tools of leverage have more power over humans that do not. Saying it more simply, 'leverage is power'."

So now that you understand what the word leverage means, you need to make use of tools to leverage from your work. Now, with the help of the internet and computers, you can achieve many things especially to make more money. As you can see, more and more leveraging tools are being created every single day. Those people who can adapt and use these tools wisely will move one step forward than those who don't know to benefits from these tools. If you're not learning to use all these leveraging tools, you will fall back financially or will be working harder and harder just to keep up.

By going it alone, you are without leverage. You will have to rely on your own time, contacts, experience, expertise, money, and other resources. This is a painfully slow way to proceed and it will limit and hinder your success.

Why Focus On Marketing & Earning Online

On my 43rd birthday today, I spent some time in church this morning reflecting on how God has blessed me abundantly over the years with a good family (both immediate and extended), fantastic teachers & professors, great work colleagues and friends who have influenced and played an important role in my life. I am ever grateful to God for this, and 3 years ago, when I turned 40 (they say life begins at 40), I decided it was time to start giving back to the community and world at large, in whatever way I could.

Although most online marketing millionaires are young (in the age groups 18 - 30), as they may be tech savvy, there are also older people (even upto the age of 75), who are engaged in and succesful in marketing and earning online. It is never to late to start marketing and earning online - the best time is now.

I took the tough decision to quit the career rat race, so that I could spend more time with my family, increase my spiritual growth, and share, guide and help others. This was what prompted me to focus on spending time, money and efforts to learn the skills, tools, techniques of how to market and earn online from online marketing gurus and millionaires through various online marketing coaching programs.

This strategy provided me with the following benefits

I could reach out to share, guide and help others to earn additional income online
I could lead a stress free life, and I had the flexibility of time - I could do what I wanted when I wanted

In such situations, individuals and families are desperately looking for ways to earn more. With the job situation getting worse, individuals have no choice but to look at alternative ways of earning additional income, without having to invest too much of money. Therefore, they turn to various online home-based businesses and affiliate marketing businesses, which requires them to have the basic essentials of a computer with internet connection, the willingness to learn how to market and earn online, the willingness to be sincere and share good opportunities with others, the willingness to follow instructions and guidelines shared by their business team leader or mentor, and a budget to join and market the online businesses.

Depending on their budget, they opt for online businesses with a wide range of products with fees ranging from as low as a $10 monthly fee businesses such as GDI or Freebie Force, to a $2000 one time fee business such as Big Ticket To Wealth. When I ventured into online marketing a few years ago, I also lost a lot of money, but over time I have learnt from my mistakes and have managed to make friends with some very good online marketers and gurus and learn from them. So now, I can pass on what I have learned to anybody who is serious about earning additional income online. You will not need to go through the trial and error learning curve that I went through, and that will save you a lot of time and money.

Let’s face it..almost every country is in a slowdown mode or a recession or in a deep recession. Hundreds and thousands of jobs are being lost every week, and the fear of uncertainty is increasing by the day.

In such situations, individuals and families are desperately looking for ways to earn more. With the job situation getting worse, individuals have no choice but to look at alternative ways of earning additional income, without having to invest too much of money. Therefore, they turn to various online home-based businesses and affiliate marketing businesses, which requires them to have the basic essentials of a computer with internet connection, the willingness to learn how to market and earn online, the willingness to be sincere and share good opportunities with others, the willingness to follow instructions and guidelines shared by their business team leader or mentor, and a budget to join and market the online businesses.
