Understanding The Power of Leverage
Almost all successful individuals understand and have adopted the use of leverage to accelerate their success. You may become successful without using leverage but, you if you aren’t using it, that means you are willing to compromise the level of success, speed, and time necessary to achieve your goals.
I remember reading Robert Kiyosaki's book "Rich Dad Poor Dad", where he briefly explains what leverage means and how leverage can help us become rich. And in one of his books, Retire Young Retire Rich, Robert Kiyosaki even tells us how to use the power of leverage and what benefits you can get from using it.
This is how Robert Kiyosaki defines leverage.
"In the broad definition of the world, the word leverage simply means 'the ability to do more with less'. When it came to the subject of work, money, and leverage, rich dad would say, 'if you want to become rich, you need to work less, and earn more. In order to do that, you employ some form of leverage.' He contrasted that statement by saying, 'People who only work hard have limited leverage. If you're working hard physically and not getting ahead financially, then you're probably someone else's leverage.' He also said, 'If you have money sitting in the bank in your savings account or retirement account, then others are using your money as their leverage.
My rich dad said, 'People with leverage have dominance over people with less leverage.' In other words, just as humans gained advantages over animals by creating leveraged tools, similarly, humans who use these tools of leverage have more power over humans that do not. Saying it more simply, 'leverage is power'."
So now that you understand what the word leverage means, you need to make use of tools to leverage from your work. Now, with the help of the internet and computers, you can achieve many things especially to make more money. As you can see, more and more leveraging tools are being created every single day. Those people who can adapt and use these tools wisely will move one step forward than those who don't know to benefits from these tools. If you're not learning to use all these leveraging tools, you will fall back financially or will be working harder and harder just to keep up.
By going it alone, you are without leverage. You will have to rely on your own time, contacts, experience, expertise, money, and other resources. This is a painfully slow way to proceed and it will limit and hinder your success.

Many individuals that venture into internet marketing tend to give up very easily. Since you are not actually selling something to the end consumer, you don't have to deal with shipping hassles of actually having to get the product or service to the customer. Instead, you can just refer someone to your affiliate link, and when they buy the product, the whole ordering and shipping process is out of your hands, and the company that actually owns the product takes it from there.
* No Payment Delays
Since you are not selling your own product or service, you don't have to physically collect money from the customer, set up a merchant account, or any of that stuff. You simply refer people to your affiliate link, and then they pay the company for that product or service, and the company sends you your commission.

* No Customer Support
This is a great benefit to you, as an affiliate, because you don't have to deal with the customers of the companies you promote, and this means you don't have to handle any complaints, problems, or any other types of problems that come with having to interact with customers.
* No Selling
You may have seen claims from other business opportunities, such as with network marketing, that no selling is involved, but this is completely true with affiliate marketing, because the merchant's website is already set up to promote the products with proven web copy, testimonials, and so forth. All you have to do is get people to that website.
* No Website
We just covered the fact that the merchant already has the website that does the selling of the products or services that you're recommending, so you really don't even need a website of your own. Now, there are certainly some advantages to having your own affiliate website set up to help promote your affiliate offers, but it simply isn't necessary to do so in order to make money with an affiliate marketing business.
* No Sales Quotas
Most affiliate programs are set up so that you'll get paid even if you only make one sale in a given month. In fact, it's the opposite... if you make a lot of sales, you'll actually get a "raise", which allows you to earn even more commissions. This raise is sometimes called a "performance bonus", and this can often be rewarded to you for hitting certain sales level. However, regardless of how few sales you may make in a given month, you'll still get paid for those sales, in nearly every instance.
* No Recruiting
Unlike other business opportunities, you do not have to build any downlines by convincing other people to join the same business under you. Affiliate marketing doesn't work that way. It's simple...
Affiliate marketing allows you to make money by promoting products and services of other companies, and when you make sales, you get paid. Period. If you make sales, you earn commissions. If you don't make sales, you don't earn commissions. It doesn't get any simpler than... you refer something, someone buys something, you get paid!
* Huge Potential
Even with all the amazing benefits that you've just heard when it comes to building an affiliate marketing business, the business has huge potential.
